Well, it would be folly for me to attempt to fill my site with the millions of pages of investment information at the fingertips at the individual investors out there. As I only invest in the Stock Options Market, I can, however, offer you a selection of very useful sites for those out there doing any Options trading. Mind you, unless you are keen on the information held within these sites, they make for a very dry read.
CBOE - Chicago Board of Options Exchange This site contains everything that the Options investor needs to earn himself a living. Most of the information I use is the free quotations that it offers. While the site contains 20 minute old information, it is still the premier site for options price quotes. If you want to skip over the homepage information of their site, you can go right to the Stock Option Price Quote page. This site is absolutely great for all of your financial needs. It is a great location for all types of research and news and charting. It even has free interday charts (delayed). One of my favorite pages I have found here is the U.S. Markets - Most Active. For only $4.95 a month, you have access to all of the famed Journal's archives and articles and analysis. A definate for anyone that is in the financial sector, and this searchable version is even cheaper than the printed version. (And you won't get your hands dirty.) The broker I have chosen to handle some of my investment accounts. Their rates are good, the speed of transactions is excellent, and I have never had a problem with any of the trades I have done there. They are very good about sending out statements for every trade that you do via snail-mail, and in general have been very good when I have had to speak to them over the telephone as well. If you are like me and hear all the time how earnings came in above the analysts expectations, but under the street or 'whisper' number so the stock drops. I have finally found a place that posts (and even e-mails you a report if you wish) containing all of the whisper numbers and a brief analysis of where the earnings might fall within that range. I think it is a great site. Ever wonder how to compute the delta for various options? Ever wish that someone would organize a table listing all of the written options for a stock in a simple table with some basic analysis of each one? Well here it is. Another great site. |
